Born and raised in New Jersey, Ellie grew up on "T.G.I.F," "Saved By The Bell," and MTV. She always knew she wanted to be a TV host and began making YouTube videos interviewing local artists and K-pop stars. She was a news host for Anime News Network and hosted her own show on MTV K called "Top 10 Countdown." She climbed her way to working alongside Nick Lachey on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" as the show's pop culture correspondent. In addition to her duties as a correspondent, she was the host for VH1 News and interviewed singers, actors, and comedians like Daniel Radcliffe, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jemaine Clement to name a few.
Since leaving VH1, she was one of the hosts for People Style's celebrity fashion series, "Style Tracks," and the co-host of Bikini.com's digital show. She was last seen reporting celebrity news on "The Wendy Williams Show" with the queen herself.
Amidst her undying love for hosting, Ellie simultaneously fell head over heels in love with acting. She was last seen in the indie film, "I Can, I Will, I Did," as the movie's female lead and can be seen next in the short comedic film "Gladys Brown" playing opposite actress Anna Maria Horsford.
When she's not glued to a microphone, she can often be seen sitting on NYC sidewalks playing and talking with strangers' dogs. Aside from her passion for entertainment, Ellie rescues and fosters neglected dogs which you can find on her dog Instagram @dawgfosters.
She can't live without almond butter dark chocolate chip cookies or coffee. She also loves gift certificates just in case you were curious.
